Jan Terwel was a teacher in secondary education, a teacher educator and is currently professor of education. Visiting professor at Stanford University, California, U.S.A. and visiting professor at the Queensland University, Brisbane, Australia. He was a member of the board of the International Association for the Study of Cooperation in Education (IASCE)
